#  Congrats to Nurunisa Akyuz, recipient of the HBI Postdoc Pioneers Grant

Nurunisa received a HBI Postdoc Pioneers Grant for $50,000. This project will combine organoids with cryo-electron tomography (cryoET) to capture high-resolution images of the TMC1 complex in a native environment, in order to understand the spatial organization of the channel complex.
